From messy and disorganised to gaining clarity with simplified problem solving strategies
Before I started working with Claire, things were rather messy and disorganised. My diary was out of control. I was juggling many tasks over at least three countries with time spans up to 8 hours difference. There was no business in the area I had been concentrating in although things were looking promising with a solid solution for inheritance taxes for property investors.
I had clients to manage in Thailand with varying demands and unpredictable demand on my time as their consultant.
I had no idea of Claire’s capabilities and had never engaged a coach before assuming they were a waste of time. I am a very experienced international business person so why would Claire be able to assist?
I networked in a common group with Claire and listened to her presentations. After a while I thought it may be a good idea if I gave her service a try.
The process was simple and straightforward. In many ways I had expected a scientific slant and some sort of magic methodology in our approach to solutions to issues.
I was unsure about the problems which we would discuss and look at. The actuality has been very different from these expectations. Claire is pragmatic and very practical about how she approaches problems. In many ways it is an over simplification of problem solving. Much like we sometimes look at our other simple life tasks and variations to the way we tackle these, but most definitely the most effective strategies and solutions.
I wanted a clear understanding of how to look at some of the things I encounter both in my business and personal life. After all, I am the same person at work as I am at home.
Much of my life is unmanageable and sometimes I think this is because I have so many things to tackle that I cannot see the wood for the trees. Claire has taught me to stand back and look at the bigger picture, segregating what is important from what can wait. I can do this now by looking at both the major aspects of my life: business and private.
I am able to remain calmer than before and think about Claire’s pragmatic approach, adapting it to my specific circumstances and applying it to consideration of the matters I need to evaluate.
The advice I would give to anyone considering working with Claire is "Just do it; you won’t regret it"
My experience is way beyond expectations. Claire is pragmatic, practical, positive and level headed. She approaches her work with clients in a tailored and well rounded way. She has adapted to me rather than expecting me to adapt to her. This creates the scenario where solutions can be found.
